Shepherd, London, a Regency 8-day flame mahogany longcase clock, the 30 cm dia. circular white enamelled dial with roman numerals enclosing subsidiary seconds and date dials, the hood with circular glass panel to each side and surmounted by a brass eagle on ball, raised on shaped bracket feet, 203 cm h o/all, possibly associated case/movement
movement complete, dirty but runs when prompted; the dial older repainted; the movement seat board probably replaced, the case movement cheeks cut down and now with modern screws, in a possibly associated case; the case original and complete, surface displaying some minor shrinkage and surface marks commensurate with age and use, dirty, bracket feet intact
