A pair of 19th century French porcelain vases, the domed covers with fir-cone finials, the twin handles with bronze rosette mounts, reserves well-painted with 18th century figures on a lake shoreline, lake landscapes to reverse, signed J. Vernet, on stemmed foot with square base, underglaze blue crowned JB monogram under base, 51 cm
Both restored at base of main body
One lid repaired and restored with hairline cracks visible. One missing 'boss' element to handle (visible in image). The other lid with chop to top of base. Gilding rubbed in various places to both vases.
