A late 19th century Chinese blue and white vase, the flared neck painted with diaper, ruyi-head and lappet banding interspersed by taotie masks and the globular body painted with four dragons below large ruyi-head motifs and floral/foliate scroll on blue ground, keyfret banding around the foot, all in tones of underglaze blue, double circle mark to centre of base, 38.5 cm high
