A 17th/18th century Chinese bronze censer (incense burner) and original stand, the censer with compressed globular body and loop handles standing on three conical feet with central cast Xuande seal mark, resting on the naturalistic lotus leaf design stand, early Qing Dynasty, 13 cm w (including handles) x 9 cm h (including stand) 1267 grams gross.

More Information

Overall good condition with dark patina, some areas of minor surface wear, small dinks, light scratches and and small areas of verdigris consistent with age and use. No visible cracks, splits or repairs. The interior with sooty residue from use.
The censer and stand are well matched, both with stable feet and sit level, the stand is probably original showing a similar patina and age related wear.
